It is not just in your head
One week can feel manageable and the next overwhelming. Hot flushes, rage, brain fog, a tiredness that sleep doesn’t touch. When your hormones shift, the effects ripple through the entire body. It is in your head, and it is physiological. This course offers an alternative to the often medicalised view of menopause: a chance to understand what is happening, and to explore practices that support you in the day-to-day.
Six weeks, three seasons
Traditional Chinese Medicine sees the menopause journey reflected in the turning of the seasons, and this seasonal framework is at the heart of the course.

1
Weeks 1 and 2: Autumn
Perimenopause. Leaves begin to fall, and the body starts to release and let go. We look at hot flushes, night sweats, rage and irritability, with practices of acceptance and forgiveness.
2
Weeks 3 and 4: Winter
Menopause. Deep stillness. This is not a time to push through, but to restore. We look at anxiety, overwhelm and fatigue. It is not an ending, but a threshold.
3
Weeks 5 and 6: Second Spring
Post-menopause. What follows Winter is not an end, but a beginning: creativity, wisdom, purpose and renewal.
