Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about our classes and the schedule.
What style of yoga are the classes?
All of our classes will guide you to explore classical asana (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation. They can be described as Hatha yoga, but that means so many different things to so many different people. So join us without expectation. Through classical yoga asana, the classes will help you to build strength and balance in body and mind, while offering you the opportunity to release and let go of that which no longer serves you.
You will cultivate stillness and ease by connecting to the body through the breath. All classes are open to all abilities and levels. We advise you to listen to your body and adopt the appropriate variations that feel right to you.
There are 8 types of class to pick from, depending on how fast you want to move, how much energy you have and the kind of journey you'd like to go on! Our Essentials classes are very accessible and perfect for beginners or those recovering from illness or injury. Our Nurture classes are slower, more passive and restorative in nature. Our Classic classes are gentle but offer the opportunity to explore and build strength and confidence where you can, and our Spicy classes are designed to challenge you in body and mind.
We also have a gentle yoga and light weights class called Strength, Yin Yoga for slow and passive stretches, Yoga Nidra for deep rest and guided relaxation and a Meditate and Breathe class to calm the nervous system.
I'm a beginner. Which is the best class for me?
I'm not very flexible, or I struggle with pain. Which class is best for me?
What are special classes?
How early can I come to the class?
Will you be adding more classes in the future?
Are the classes recorded?
Can I join a class if I’m pregnant?
Do I need to have my mic and camera on?
